Well i'm here to update again. 2nd week of school, really getting to bond with my group (with komala and dinesh inside) and i have to say that they r a great bunch of people. i still have yet to know the rest of my class well apart from the people i already knew like melissa, hamizah, abigail and vivien. but this class is very different from the rest of my other classes i've had during previous sems. this class seems a little dead. and if u know me, im not the dead kind of guy. i like fun and sporty people, but i get a dead feeling every time i see my class. lets hope this is something which can change. haha and my group members discovered something about me. they say when i step into sch the first thing in the morning, my face is fierce and i look like i wana pick a fight. by afternoon i'll start talking alot and by evening i am crazy and hyper. haha interesting isn't it. at first i thot they were crazy enuf to come up with something like that, but when i look back... i really am like that in school haha. so dun get turned off by me in the mornings lol!
and i have to wake dinesh up everyday, haha and its really funi having to wake him up. he needs an average of 11 miss calls everyday just to wake up. he will nv be able to wake up during the first few calls. but today, today was different. just 1 call with 3 rings, he picked up the phone and said: 'HI, OKOK BYE' then he hung up. and i thot wow! thats very rare! in the end... he callled me 1hr later... and guess wat he said? i picked up and he said: 'EH Y U NV WAKE ME UP?' hahaha oh man eventually i found out tt he unconsciously picked up the phone, spoke a few words and hung up. so next time i know, if i nv hit 11 missed calls, i better not take it tt he's awake.
today i was quite pissed in school, and i wasn't the only one. nabyla and aisha from my project group also didn't know how to react and they were also quite pissed. ok the thing is this, for our corporate communication modules, the learning style is PBL. and on the first day of sch, we were given an option to work with PEOPLE'S ASSOCIATION (PA) on a real life project. they told us that if we signed up, its a good opportunity to work on a real life problem and we will do our SIP with people's association. some of us didn't wan to do our SIP with PA coz u know la, its a non-profit organisation and we wun be paid if we do SIP with them. and we also required more information on the project coz we knew nothing at all. the lecturers didn't have any answers to our questions and they advised us to sign up first then go for a briefing which will be conducted by PA, and they also said that if we do project with PA, we dun have to do our PBL problems. so its quite a good deal if u come to think of it.
then today my group and i decided to back out of the project coz everything is so unknown and we rather work with our own PBL problems, which is something we r more familiar with. and we also didn't wana serve SIP with PA, coz if we sign up for this project, we have to commit 1yr to PA and after that serve attachment. BUT BUT BUT we were assured once again by the lecturers that we can opt out after the briefing on friday if we dun wana partake in their project. then this afternoon, during our tutorials, our tutor told us that the PA project is something EXTRA... and that we still have to undergo half of the process of our normal PBL problem. then after sch we have to go down to PA HQ at kallang to work on their project. just then we wanted to back out, but our tutor told us that we cant back out already. tp has already confirmed with PA. we have to go for this project. its like so wtf right. i was seriously pissed. i mean honestly i dun mind undertaking this PA project, but what im pissed about is how i was CHEATED INTO THIS! seriously, this sux! one moment i knew nth abt the project, the next moment i was assured i can back out... and the very next moment im in and i cant back out anymore. farrrrgggged up!
now the only possibility that this project will be cancelled, is that if PA forces us to do SIP with them. coz we told the lecturers how unwilling we r on doing SIP with them. so if they force us to do SIP with them (which is most unlikely), then this project will be terminated. but that will nv happen la... so there is a 99% chance that i must do this project... which means going to PA after sch hours to do their project. farg it. so long and good night.

Hi, it's been a week since i last updated. well i started school on monday at 9am. of coz, i had problems waking up considering the fact that i slept at 2am on sunday and had to wake up at 7am. but i got up eventually though my dad had to whack me many times with my towel. lol but dinesh had more problems coz he slept at 5am on sunday nite and i gave him over 10miss calls on monday morning before he finally got up to pick up his phone. i left home at 810, coz i dun wana be late on the first day of school. and the journey to school took 45mins. i had a 2hr lecture scheduled and after tt i could go home. but after 45mins into the lecture, the lecturer said: 'OK I'M DONE THATS ALL, SEE U ALL ONE WEEK BEFORE UR TESTS' and next week on wards we wun have tt lecture anymore coz its PBL -_-". i took great pains getting up and travelling to sch for 45mins... just for a 45mins lecture. and it took me 45mins to get home too. dulan! haha dinesh and i were kiasu singaporeans, trying to recruit reliable project group members already when its just the first day of sch. managed to get komala, and her two frens nablya and aisha. i hope this sem's projects wun have any cock ups.
oh ya i gave u all a brief synopsis of the movie DEATH NOTE in my previous entry. well i watched it last fri, and to me, it was awesome! i mean its a made up movie, but the storyline and plots made me go WOAH! and ORH NO WONDER! throughout some parts of the movie. well i will continue watching the anime series on youtube. there's a second part of the movie which seems even more exciting. cant wait for that. most of the people i know liked the movie alot, but of coz tastes in movies differ and some people hate it. in terms of y they hate it, well here's two reasons i can think of:
1. they catch no balls on what's happening
2. they like straightforward movies
straightforward in a sense that they like those SPIDERMAN type of movies. when u already know spiderman is gona spin his web and fly here fly there. then at the end of the day, the good guy meets the bad guy, the bad guy seems to be winning but suddenly for an unknown reason... POOF! the good guy found a breakthrough and counter attacks the bad guy for the win. and after that the good guy kisses the leading actress, the city is peaceful again like the start and the movie ends. *yawns* then u will be supporting the good guy all the way coz u know he is good in nature with all his moral values and the bad guy is immoral coz he is greedy and wants to kill others *double yawn*.
but DEATH NOTE! death note is different. death note is about two guys who pit their wits against each other bcoz of differences in their believes towards JUSTICE. Light Yagami, the person who owns the death note, uses it to kill major criminals so that there will be a more peaceful world. but the detective 'L' thinks that by mass killing these criminals, it's by far much worse. so who is right? its up to u to decide, really. so that really caught my attention and made me like it. it's the uniqueness of the movie which amazes me. go catch it if u haven.
well after that we went to tampines mart macdonalds to slack till 5am then next day. and when we got bored, krishna, a rich indonesian kid, dared jason to sniff a packet of macdonalds pepper for $20. and yes, he did it. the following youtube video shows u how he did it. enjoy.

whoa the haze is back again. just when it subsided early last week, it came back with some thick smog on saturday. it's always saturday eh. last week the saturday also saw a high reading of 150, just last weekend it hit 120. subsided again until now its only abt 70. my indonesian fren, krishna, told me that the farmers usually burn alot of trees on fridays... and on saturday they will leave the trees there thru the weekends and go dating since they got off days. and i was like WHOA SO IRRESPONSIBLE AH. and he replied: 'actually i duno also, i anyhow say one.'
i felt so dumb.
sch's starting next monday. until now, i haven received any news on when the timetable is gona be released. i hope for a slack timetable of coz, but most importantly, i hope to have a good group. good in terms of their contributions, ability to solve problems and of coz to be present for discussions. coz my upcoming class will be my class for 3 sems, and if u wana put it in a scarier way, for the rest of my poly life. a good group will solve all my fricking project problems. but thankfully i have dinesh with me, and he has proven to be a valuable group member. of coz i will stay away from leadership responsibilities this sem. 3sems is enough. being a leader sux, especially when u get lost in the midst of projects.
and if u haven heard about this. Youtube is worth $16BILLION. i duno the currency, but should be USD. crazy right, for a free website to broadcast yourself. MILLIONS of people around the world visit it everyday. its like wtf right. haha and google act cute go buy 1billion worth of youtube shares. google says that it wans to be the biggest video broadcaster in the world. wha lao, pls la.. u r already the biggest search engine, now u wana conquer another sector. can't u just be happy with wat u have? my main concerns are that if google starts to be an idiot and do their LAW BY LAW thing, then many videos in youtube will be taken out. i watch alot of stuff in youtube, from animes like bleach to mtvs and soccer replays. if google decides that animes cant be broadcasted on youtube, then im pwned.
alright, the official release date for DEATH NOTE the movie is tmr. i'm gona catch it on friday. for those of u who know nuts abt that movie, let me tell u a brief story. its adapted based on the best selling comic in japan. ok one day a death god (some1 who brings death -_-") got bored in his world of darkness that he decides to intentionally drop his DEATH NOTE (which is a notebook) onto the human world. the person who picked it up is a sch genius rumoured to be the smartest student in japan... and he is always a straight As student. his name is LIGHT. ok he got the DEATH NOTE, which he read the instructions within. all he has to do is to write a name in the death note. the name that is written in the death note will die. but as he writes the name, he must picture the person's face and write it, or else everyone with that name will die. like for example if he wans me dead, he must think of my face while writing GERALD TAN JUN LONG. if he doesnt, then ALL the GERALD TAN JUN LONGs in the world will die. if he doesnt specify how the person dies, then after 40secs the person will automatically die of a heart attack. if he specifies, then that person will die according to how he wans that person dead. cool yeah.
as a student, he was very concerned as there were many criminals in japan. for a start, he tuned into the news and found out a criminal's name with his face on tv. so he wrote that persons name and thot of his face, and eventually, killed him. he then went on to kill many other major criminals. the police force was shocked that such murders actually take place without a murderer. they summoned a detective, named 'L.' this L guy has helped the police force solve many unsolved mysteries and crimes. L is not his real name, and nobody has seen his face before. everytime he comes on, a letter 'L' will be shown and he will be talking in the background. he wans to track down the mystery killer, but doesnt know who the killer is. he has since narrowed his search and has confirmed that this killer is in japan. LIGHT, on the other hand, knows that L is looking for him. he wans to kill L but he can't coz he doesnt know L's face and in the first place, L isnt the detectives real name. so in short, whoever finds who first will triumph. the question is, how do they find each other and wat happens during the process of finding each other? watch the movie to find out! i can't guarantee that its a good movie, coz tastes differ. and i haven watched it yet. will till fri then i will know.

HAZE MADNESS! well today seems quite alright with an average PSI reading of 30. yesterday was damn jialat... highest reading of 150 and lowest 110. when i woke up, i thot i was in genting. serious, cant even see the other side of simei, and simei is like so puny. i was quite worried actually, coz im going to jb on tues (yes im going jb again, but don't worry i wun cock up like last time)... and if singapore is already tt bad, i cant imagine m'sia. but today it subsided so it should be quite ok. every1 stayed indoors yesterday... and for the first time, eastpoint was packed with ppl. can u believe it, i mean its eastpoint u know. coz every1 didnt wan to have their dinner at some open air kopitiam, every1 including me.
oh ya as promised in my previous entry, i wanted to talk abt condominiums. haha it brings me back to my sec sch days when we were having civics and moral education lessons. my teacher miss lim asked the class to name out the 5Cs. so the class went CASH, CREDIT CARD, CAR, CAREER, and i cheekily named the last one... i said: 'CONDOM!!!.....minium.' lol then miss lim turned around, she was quite pissed... and she asked who said it. then weeyang cheekily put up his hand (when it wasnt even him who said it... it was me!)... and she asked him to do 50 push ups lol!!! anyway weeyang, if u r reading this... im so touched.. and i will nv forget tt. i owe u my life lol.
but my main point in talking abt condos is their residents. i'm not stereotyping but it seems to me that condo residents specialise in one thing. COMPLAINTS! whoa they super know how to complain. abit abit only complain. on ipod for some music during bbq... complain. pass a soccer ball at the playground with no one around... complain. swim with bball shorts... complain. play beach ball (those meant to be played in water)... also complain. im lucky that the ppl living in hdb aren't tt fished up. i'm pissed bcoz last mon we went to CHANGI GREEN to celebrate justin's, sijun's and gordon's bdays. then u know la... condo got swimming pool wat. so after bbq, whahaha 3 of them got thrown in the water. lol in the end every1 went in coz we had to kamikaze to get them in. less than 1 min, security guards came. then they looked at us and they said: 'ONE RESIDENT CAN ONLY BRING 4 FRENS IN THE POOL AT A TIME.' whoa wth man, i think he anyhow bomb one. haha we threw gordon into the pool in his jeans. then the guards were very angry tt he went in with jeans. they scolded him. then gordon said tt he got pushed in by us and he was already out of the water. then guards damn basket... they said: 'SINCE U LIKE TO JUMP DOWN SO MUCH, U GO UP 11 FLOORS AND JUMP DOWN LA.' whoa every1 was so damn angry tt we scolded the guards and sherman also acted like he wanted to pick a fight lol. anyway the guard's hair was damn cool la. some 70s afro hairstyle. such a pity i didnt get a chance to snap his hair. or i would have shown u guys the pic. and he said tt residents complained this residents complained tt. whoa we also didnt bother to listen to watever he had to say. so we just cut the cake and went home. ta ma de.

oh man im here to update again. what a chore. its a chore to me if i have nth to update abt. well sch's starting in 2 weeks time.. and i duno if its good or bad... good in a way tt i have sth to do everyday and bad coz the projects will start piling again and i will have mood swings and all. talking abt mood... the other time i was in shanghai we went for this foot reflexology, and they have doctors to examine us. this doctor looked at my palm and immediately told me: 'ur palms tell alot abt u. u r calm but hot tempered' i duno whether i wana believe him, i mean i can also easily look at some1's palms and talk nonsense... since talking nonsense is what im good at.
but it was put to test just 3 days ago when i went to the bubble tea shop with abt 10frens to order bubble tea, but only i wanted to drink, the rest of them were there just to accompany me. so there were two aunties. i went up and i looked at one auntie, she looked back and she immediately went off to wash the blender. so i turned and looked at the other one. she also turned and looked away and went to the refrigerator to take something. then the first auntie who was washing the blender was done washing and she came and stared at me again. jus when i wanted to order... both aunties looked at each other and walked away. whoa i waited for abt 2mins... seriously got 2mins... i just stood there and did nothing. then i finally got fed up... (my frens were also quite fed up) so i said loudly to my frens: AIYA SUA LA I DUN WANA BUY ANYMORE. then BOTH aunties at the same time asked me: 'ya wat u wan?' and i was so pissed that i shouted: 'EH **** YOUR SHOP LA!' then they scolded me back with sth else and my fren turned back to stare at them and they kept quiet. is tt being hot tempered to u? lol. i really duno. but i was tt pissed at tt time.
and i promised never to go back to that bubble tea shop anymore. neither will my frens. so they lost 10 customers just like that. but there's one bubble tea shop in tampines... the one just outside tampines mrt station near the old location of cheers, there's a bubble tea shop called SWEETALK. some time last week i knocked off from work and i dropped by with derrick to buy bubble tea. and suddenly derrick said: HEY LOOK AT THIS!
AND WAT THE HELL IS A PAYAYA??!?!?!?! LOL!
