Last nite was a great nite i would say. lets start from the beginning. i was supposed to meet a few of my 4e1 classmates to celebrate shing's bday yesterday. meeting time was 630pm. yes yes to all 1b20ians who r viewing this, u all muz be thinking that i am going to be early again, since u all gave me the nickname "EARLYBIRD". i wanted to leave my house at 610pm to take the mrt down to pasir ris when i realised tt it doesnt pay to be early. so i wore my shoes and went to the living room to read... 8 DAYS! cool eh! i read till 630pm! haha and then i was 10mins late! i felt so shiok, this is the first time i purposely planned to be late... but then erm... when i reached there, only half the amount of ppl were there. in the end nic and meijun came at 7pm. so eventually i still lost to the ever so famous latebirds. haha and to think that evan and shijia reached at 625! they thot i would be early.. but i wasnt! whohoo! nanny nanny poo poo =p!
haha so we made our way down to fisherman's village when weeyang nic and i realised that shing didnt say that she was treating us. i mean whenever a bday is celebrated in 4e1, the bday guy/girl would normally be treating. so we were immune to this ritual. but the problem lies here, shing did not mention anything abt her treating us. and i only had $8, nic had $10, and weeyang only had $2 (champion ah he). so we were scared tt when we reach there we can only afford a bottle of mineral water haha. we reached pasir ris park, still not knowing whether shing treating us anot. we walked to this highly romantic restaurant called THE REEF. it was so romantic, soothing music, nice candles, and nobody. so we looked at the menu and we saw prices like $26, $35, and even $70! weeyang nic and i were gona faint haha.
in the end we decided to eat the rice with dishes at fisherman's village. we found a seat and we sat down. we were all quiet, coz the question was still running through our minds. then shing said: 'go buy la.' haha we still remained quiet. then shing said: 'go buy, u all pay first i will pay u all back later, i am treating.' WHOA! tt broke the silence, it seemed that every1 else had life again! the first thing i did was to look up to the sky and thanked god. so we ate bbq chicken wings, satay, black pepper chicken, kang kong and stingray. yum yum! then we took some photos and shing opened her presents.
and the present opening was super hell funi. meijun and honey actually played a prank on shing! ok they gave shing a very heavy present. after opening the wrapper, she had to rip alot alot alot of newspapers b4 reaching the present. in the end, the so called present was [HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE] and it wasn't even a present! the book belonged to shing. they were jus returning it to her. haha she was about to faint. haha but then they took out the real presents! it was 3months worth of contact lenses and a MMC reader. then the suave weeyang presented shing with an acoustic guitar! (yes, we bought a guitar for her as i said in my earlier entry, it was the thing we had to go back twice to the shop bcoz of the $2). she was so touched and she was about to cry coz weeyang actually bought her a guitar... awwww... a touch of love.
after that we went rocket blasting with sparklers, but unfortunately all the 2 tries failed. but nvm, we will try again another time. so we went to tm mac to slack and headed home after that b4 midnite. ok my entry ends here. cya!
