here to update u on my sometimes-exciting-sometimes-boring life! let's start frm last thurs. econs lecture totally sucked. our lecturer was this wierd guy. he finished the lecture within 1hr 15mins. but he could have done it within an hr. most of the time, we jus whispered abit, and he will stand still for abt 3mins. and he did it for every damn page! sickening. haha i duno his name, but i can tell u tt for me, dinesh, eugene and melvin, it wasn't the 1st time seeing him. this brings us back all the way to last sem. haha okok be prepared for another story.
last sem for communication skills 1, we had an oral presentation and we (the guys) were all dressed up nicely with our blazers on. b4 the start of our presentation, we went to the toilet to touch up and make ourselves look more dashing (apparently, i failed haha). our presentation room was jus beside the staff toilet so we thot, hey y not? jus use only la, wun die right. so we went in to make our hair. and this econs lecturer came in.
he said: do u guys realise this is the staff toilet?
we: ya of coz we do
(ignored him and continued making our hair)
he (slightly angry): and so wat r u all doing in here??!!
we: preparing for our comm skills presentation, aiya a while only wun die la
he (super pissed): get out! u all take comm skills and u cant read the sign!
we: aiya a while only right, so angry for wat
frm then on, we loathed him. and after the econs lecture, we loathed him even more. talking abt econs, on fri, SIMON SEAH was absent for our econs tutorial! do u know how happy every1 was?! haha on fri i came to sch and i walked into business sch. when i walked in, i saw simon seah walking out. it was 855am, and we were supposed to have econs tutorial at 9. haha and i thot he old liao, so his sense of direction abit sotong, he was walking out of business sch. haha eventually the tutor who took over told us tt simon seah went to give lecture at engineering block. whoa our make up tutor was a very very very nice gentleman. compared to simon seah, he was heaven!
after a good start to my friday, i ended tt day playing LAN at katong until 1230am. whoa we thot no bus liao, then i walked out i saw 14, we flagged, and the 14 ignored us, so i ran and flagged and shouted: AHHHHHHHHH!! at my top pitch and the 14 stopped. whoa so sia sway, inside the bus so crowded, i hope they didn't really hear my scream, although i knew they more or less did. then when 14 reached tanah merah, we wanted to take cab home (coz our main purpose was to take a bus to a nearer location to simei so the midnight cab fare was cheaper). but then when we reached tanah merah, every1 wan to budget, so we frm tanah merah mrt station WALKED BACK to simei mrt station at 115am! it was scary and warm and i took off my shirt to walk, super shiok. but then the police car keep petroling and i nv wear any bra, so in the end i still put my shirt back on. reached home at 2am and slept like a pig.
saturday. went to suntec's royal sporting house to buy a new pair of bball shoes. jason's uncle was working there and we were entitled to 40% discount! 40%! like wth! around 10-12 of us went and i picked a shoe with a simple design. it costs $79.90. and after discount, it became $48! whoa! in my whole entire life, it was my cheapest pair of bball shoes! (if not for my BATA bm2000 sch shoes during pri sch, this would have been my cheapest shoe!) every1 else bought stuffs from royal sporting house. frm bags to tshirts to shoes, and our total spendings for tt day amounted up to around $1000. jus royal sporting house alone we spent $800 liao. haha. and weisheng went to take number frm a girl who was working at mcdonalds' mcafe at suntec B1. he asked for her number, and she replied: 'u guess how old m i?' whoa weisheng sian ah, so he walked away. ta ma de ppl ask u for ur number leh, dun wan to give at least say a "NO" also can wat, y he ask u one qns u ask him back another qns? dumb! anyway, here's a picture of my new shoes! bwahahahaha!
