yeah, finally all the projects and assignments are over! so relieved. however there's still a french speaking test on thurs, and it's no joke preparing for it. imagine the number of words i have to go through to get them inside my head, oh well.
the 3rd day of cny, which was 31st january, went well with me meeting up with the lamers plus huishan. first house we went to was mr koh's, so glad to know that he is getting better. and on that day, i was so sick of YU SEN. if u duno wats YU SEN, its LO HAY, if u still duno, then nvm. but i had to eat it thrice! first at honey's house, then wenjun's house and then shing's house. in the end i ate the crackers only and left the rest for every1 else. i dun really like yu sen, to me it taste's like vomit. i'd rather eat maggi mee. oh ya i won $4 at shing's house while gambling. basically the day was damn fun and funi too.
however while we were at mr koh's house, wenjun received a phone call from allan. we were all happily chatting and laughing with mr koh when wenjun suddenly turned and told us: 'guys, zheguang's dad passed away this morning.' jus imagine, we were all happily laughing and the next moment, we all went quiet, overwhelmed by the state of shock. every1 was like: 'huh?!' it definitely changed all our mood for the day. and i paid a visit to zg yesterday. he was fine, although he cried on the first day. by yesterday he already accepted the fact and is moving on well. his dad passed away during the CNY period, so many many ppl were pantang (superstitious) about visiting the wake. in the end only me weeyang and evan went. sad case.
and with the cny mood still strong, i realised that these few days, i kept gambling. since the start of the new year, i gambled a total of 5 times. wins and losses, its common, and i managed to scrape thru with $19 winnings. it could've been more, but im happy with it. and tonight im going to kaiwei's house to gamble again. i hope the $19 will be my capital for more winnings. yeah i know i sound very money face, but one yr once mah. and if u come up to me and tell me: HEY CHRISTIANS CANNOT GAMBLE. i will say that im catholic and even if im a christian, the 10 commandments didn't say THOU SHALL NOT GAMBLE. so screw you and ur stupid self-made theories.
to end off, i hope god grants strength to zheguang and his family and let it not affect his studies as the main exams are jus 2 weeks away. there u go, my CNY with both ups and downs, but this yr's cny was a very bad one. i also duno y. ang bao business was bad too. ok i gtg bye.
