ok it's been one week since i'm out of my job. got to keep my expenses to a minimum. doubt i will go look for another job soon, coz it's like only 3 more weeks before the hectic poly life resumes again, and nobody will be dumb enuf to employ me hoho. anyway talking abt finances and all... recently i got caught up with this sensitive money issue. ok i was playing this game... some of u may know it some of u may not, but its called DotA, sounds familiar? ok we were winning and our opponents were fuming mad (for wat reason i do not know) and they suddenly started scolding us (me and 4 more of my other frens)... and of coz being normal beings we started to scold them back. like which idiot would not retailiate? and this particular guy suddenly told us: 'u guys muz be living in hdb flats.' and we were like.. 'huh?... where is the link.'
and then he started telling us how uncivilised we were and wat a sad life we're living in and all the privileges that we r unable to enjoy compared to ppl living in private houses/housing estates. haha obviously im pissed, but i tried not to be. in the first place it's jus a computer game, y bring such a sensitive issue in to insult us? i do have many friends who reside in private houses, and they nv once compared themselves and looked down on us. i mean who would be so immature to do so? u may be rich u may live in a big house, ur parents may drive big cars, own several large companies... and u r able to buy watever u wan. yeah if u have those and u r happy then good for u. but there r also another group of ppl like us.. the uncivilised hdb ppl. we r the kind who do not have everything, but feel happy for those little things that we r able to have. and we r more than satisfied with the stuff tt we are able to enjoy which cant be bought by any amount of money. and most importantly we r also as happy as u, so u get tt fact in ur narrow minded rich brain.
haha u all may be wondering y im suddenly so serious abt the money issues and all, well it's only bcoz i cant stand ppl who think they r of a higher class when they r actually not so well off after all. and looking down on others, how idiotic. karma will come back around u. haha another reason y i only chose to talk abt it now is bcoz the incident jus took place a few days ago... and since i've nth to blog abt... i chose to talk abt this topic out of desperation. no disrespect to any1 whatsoever. if u feel offended, pls click the cute little 'X' button on the top right hand side of ur screen and get the fiak out of here. hohoho. shall update again.
