om hi! i'm here to talk about my MIDNIGHT SIMPANG BEDOK ADVENTURE. ok jiasheng andrew and i were playing dotA last nite. started at 10 all the way to 1plus midnight and as we were talking on the headset... we were complaining to each other how hungry we were. then i suggested going to simpang bedok coz i had a sudden craving for prata. i duno wat got into me but i'm not pregnant watsoever... i jus had tt sudden craving for it. then jiasheng and andrew didn't mind going but they were considering the midnight cab fare surcharge and all. haha until we decided to have another dotA game before we make our decision whether to go simpang anot. so andrew created the game, and coincedentally... there was this guy who joined our game whose nick was EVILPRATA! can u believe it.
haha and so after tt game we all planned how to go there. gab wanted to join us so 4 of us can split the stupid midnight cab fare. so since drew and gab lived in pasir ris, they will meet each other first to take the cab, then go tamp to pick jiasheng up and finally to simei to pick me up and then go to the prata shop. haha and andrew forgot to call us to tell us tt he got in the cab already. so jiasheng and i were still happily surfing the net when drew suddenly called jiasheng and told him: 'HEY IM IN THE CAB DOWNSTAIRS UR HOUSE ALREADY.. WHERE R U?' whoa then every1 panicked. coz jiashengs house to my house only required 3 mins of travelling time. haha then i faster off my com and wore my slippers and chiong out of the house. super mad rush... haha and my slippers r those surf slippers so imagine me running down 8 floors. it was like PIK PIAK PIK PIAK PIK PIAK at 240am. i hope i didnt wake my downstairs neighbours up.
reached simpang and we ordered our food. i ordered 2 plain prata (60cents each), 1 double cheese prata ($2.50). andrew ordered 1 ikan bilis fried rice ($3.50). gab and jiasheng shared a LARGE murtabak ($8). so the ACTUAL total cost we had to pay was supposed to be $15.20. but the problem with them is that the person who takes our orders and the person who collects money from us r two diff ppl. and they only collect money after we have finished our food. so the person who was collecting the bill came and saw our empty plates and he tried to sort of guess wat we ate. he guessed andrews fried rice correctly.. but he saw my empty prata plate and he asked wat i ate. i jus told him i ate 1 cheese prata. then he saw gab's and jiasheng's plate... and they told him they had a SMALL murtabak. in the end we only had to pay $11. whohoo! we did feel a little bad, but then we thot of the midnight cab fare surcharge... and we didnt feel bad anymore. hoho!
