Another sunday spent on assignments. When the holidays come in 3 weeks time, i promise i will enjoy myself thoroughly before starting next term. i tell u, arts appreciation really sux as a CDS. last tues i passed up my mosaic, and now this tues i have a presentation due. im supposed to present on an artist, mark rothko. i hate arts. and my art tutor, mrs MARIKO elizabeth gomez is actually yuuki's mom's fren.. how nice... countrymates residing in a foreign country. Just so happened that yuuki's mom was a lecturer at tp a few yrs ago... and her name was also MARIKO.
Anyway i went to church mass today and the priest was preaching... halfway thru he talked abt the da vinci code. he strongly discouraged all christians and catholics to watch that movie coz it's like featuring distortions of the church and all and making false stories abt jesus. but... i'm gona watch it tmr anyway. dun get me wrong, i'm not watching it jus to go against the priest, it's just that i already planned to watch it since the movie was screened. anyway he jus DISCOURAGED us from watching it, he didn't BAN us. and i dun feel that by watching it, i will disrespect him or the church in any way watsoever. and my faith was strong, it still is strong and it will be strong forever. i wun be so childish and idiotic to follow the movie and doubt the church.. a movie will only be a movie. i mean it's jus a movie. it's not like i watched the matrix and tried to jump off the building without getting hurt, neither am i trying to be like the hollow man who went around ra..... ok nvm i think u already got my point. so to all christians, catholics, priests, pastors, and jesus... if u all happen to drop by at my blog... i love u all and the movie wun change anything... all that i am asking, is for u to trust me, thank u!
and after church, i went on board bus 18 to go to the interchange. i was listening to the ipod. as usual i tapped my ez-link card and went all the way to the back to sit. then when i sat down, EVERYONE IN THE BUS STARED AT ME! whoa a super frightening sight. ALL STARED AT ME. i faster checked if i zipped my jeans and i did. then for some reason the bus driver stared at me using his mirror. i ignored him, coz i tapped my card wat. and he was trying to tell me sth but then i couldnt hear coz i was listening to my ipod and i continued to ignore him. then he came out of his seat and walked all the way to the back and asked me: 'can u pls show me ur student pass?' then i showed him and he said thank u. then i found out that he checked my student pass coz he thot i wasnt a student and im using a student ez-link card. (coz the student and adult ez-link card sound differently when tapped, if u still dun know). and i learnt that he was shouting and asking me to show him my student pass ever since i tapped my ez-link card but obviously i didnt hear coz of the mp3s. but then i was wondering... y does a guy like me who has a super kiddy face still have to be checked for this kinda stuff? i mean dun i look like a student? first time i kana this kind of spot check.. by a bus DRIVER somemore. if even i will kana checked... i wonder how many times granny stef got checked? and then i realise she doesn't have to take public transport anymore...............
