oh hi guys! been quite some time since i updated, i've been busy with work actually. these 2 weeks seems like forever. i'll tell u wat my job is. ok u know the drawers tt u all r using now... they r just normal drawers right, u open and close them normally. but the company tt im working for has these special drawers from austria.. so special tt no matter how hard u push to close them... they will automatically stop at a certain point and close itself softly and properly. the actual name is called the SOFTCLOSE drawer. its the ideal drawer for hot tempered ppl. they wun spoil no matter how hard u push to close them, coz once it reaches 2cm frm the cabinet... it slows down and closes itself. and ya so for these drawers to work, they have 2 metallic poles underneath them and inside these poles contain oil pumps. the current oil pumps will squirt oil. and so our job is to change them. so we have to take out the pumps 1by1 and replace them with newer pumps made of better plastic -_-". and we r doing it for 2 weeks. and u know how many oil pumps the 6 of us have to change? 14,000 of them!!!!! and the warehouse is located in kaki bukit... no aircon, no fan. so its so damn hot especially in the afternoon. we perspire like nobody's business. but i ain't complaining... we earn $80 per day. max is from 9-6pm... but normally we 5pm can leave le... sometimes even 430. so its good considering the pay and working hours. and my pain ends this fri... yup.. i started last mon.
Singapore idol ended last nite. i voted once for jonathan. i preferred him to hady. he was my fav male contestant, of coz my fav female is jasmine.. but i have to say her dressing sux.. and it makes her look fat. i think hady deserves to win bcoz he is more versatile... but i think when u talk abt having an IDOL, the x-factor.. charisma... i think jonathan has what it takes. but hady garnered 70% of the votes. lets hope he does better than taufik. hope i wun see them often in 7-11 commercials promoting gulp.
oh ya celebrated shing's bday last saturday with the lamers, the JASS, mr and mrs james, and shing's cell group. quite happening although there wasn't enough food to fill every1... and my wish for shing on her 18th bday is that she attends sch regularly, comes early for lessons and for her mum to sign her water baptism form... although all of these doesnt concern me at all. but thats still my wish for her. lol. thx for being such a great buddy. and i hope u enjoyed taking back ur pirates comic lol!
and ya i added this new household item to my room recently. ok maybe not so recently... abt 2 weeks ago. its convenient, small compared to the normal ones... and its very act cute. it's just what i need.
a mini water dispenser! only $24.90 from ACTION CITY. look at the cuuuute penguin, so act cute. i place it in my room beside my bed. i dun have to step out of my room to go to the kitchen for water anymore. and the container fills exactly 8glasses for water (2litres)... just enough for my daily requirements. errr ya behind tt dispenser is a photo frame of my niece. its also beside my bed. my parents were the one who put it there. poor me, have to see her every morning when i wake up. and she stares at me when i sleep, how unglam.
