i broke my personal best. i watched 4 movies in two weeks, something which i have nv done before. lol yeah i caught Flushed Away, The Guardian, Step Up and today it was Just Friends. Haha i guess this is what we do when we r all under stress, coz i watched all 4 movies with my project group mates, i guess its our only form of entertainment for now, sad case. anyway everytime after the movie when we come out, all of us wun be too happy, coz at the back of our minds we know that we have work to do when we get home. sux big time.
well if u wan me to comment on the 4 movies... Flushed away was funny at some parts, but the starting can really make u sleep. its those cute cartoon kind of funi, just like shrek... but shrek was 3 times better. (Rating 1.5/5)
The guardian, need i explain more. with the dashing asthon kutcher and kevin costner fighting for the lives of others as well as portraying courage in the times of need. (Rating 4.5/5)
Just Friends is the usual crappy kind of funi, just like scary movie and the lead actress of all 4 scary movies acted in this movie too! haha. crap still brings out the laughter of singaporeans (Rating 3.5/5)
Step up was not very good on their storyline, but the dance moves, its amazing and its enough to offset the disappointment in storyline. Then again, for a dance movie, you cant expect much right. a preview of the final dance below (do not watch if u wana watch the movie coz this is the finale and the best dance) (Rating 3/5) :
and 3 days ago my proj group and i went back to the same fried rice stall as mentioned in my previous entry. for those interested parties, its at tampines blk 829, the coffee shop got no name but the name of the stall is HABIBIE SEAFOOD. ok so much for that. after eating and leaving the place, we walked pass the stairs and what i saw on the notice board is enough to shock me for 10secs.
wha lao, i stood there and was stunned for like 10secs after which i just had to take out my phone for a snap. doesn't he look like.....
haha but anyway they said that his photo was done based on descriptions by people. so it might not be his actual face.
to end this entry, for those who haven seen this, i have to share this uber funi clip. its a ntu student survey. u know, its those surveys where u give feedback abt ur tutors/lecturers. And this indian lecturer from NTU certainly had some very funi comments over the years. dun get me wrong, he is not a bad teacher. according to NTU students, we won best teacher award 14 times for 14 years... and his students have stepped up to say that he deserved all his awards as he is really an inspiration. check this out...
