what a week i've had. ups and downs, lots of stuff on my mind. deadlines are near. i can't wait for the mid sem break. oh and last week dinesh broke the record for the number of missed calls... i called him 30 times (can u believe it!) and komala called him once, so tt makes it a total of 31 times. AND HE STILL COULD NOT WAKE UP! haha eventually he did not come for the first lesson. u must be wondering how i can call him 30 times. haha when i woke up i called him a few times, after bathing i called him somemore, when walking to the bus stop i called, in bus 38 i called, after alighting to meet komala and nabyla i called, and on board the bus 8 with them heading to sch i was still calling lol. perserverance. haha so much for tt.
and u know, thanks to komi and mag, i found out that there's this great halal malay food stall near tp but nearer to st hildas'. they sell fried rice that is super delicious! really damn bloody nice. it's run by this malay family and they are really super friendly. i mean they come to talk to you when u arrive, serve u with smiles, come again to check hows the food, chit chat with us for a while.. and u feel really comfortable. i mean come on, 99% of the time u dun get this kind of service. and through the family i found out how unfair life really is. i mean i was absolutely shocked to hear that their monthly rent is SGD$10,000. they also have to pay their cook $2500 every month, and of coz ont forgetting the inventory costs and all. and in the coffee shop, only they have to pay $10k per month, while other stalls need to pay only $3-5k. note: this has nothing to do with the size of the stalls. only maybe tt the malay stall is a teeny weeny bit bigger.
the reason is bcoz the malay stall sells seafood, and the perception of the stupid management is that seafood can earn lot of money. like so wth right. it really sux to hear that such a nice family pays such i high rent. i'm sure u've met some stupid hawkers with a f-up attitude and they dun even give a damn about whether u wana buy from them anot... and they are the people with cheaper rent. where is the justice?! lol.
this will be a rather short entry. coz normally i'll go out, try to see something funi and try to blog about it when im back. but for the past few days i've been at home, typing notes on the com. and for the first time in my entire life, the application i opened the most in the previous week.. was MICROSOFT WORD. zzzz. pwned. so long and good nite.
