Happy new year! i'm gona start off the new year with some typical singaporean whining. U see, i have this corporate journalism assignment, and i'm supposed to come up with a human-interest story. so looking at the word human-interest, if i interpret it word for word, then it should be a story which is of interest to humans. so to me, as long as it is interesting can already. so i came up with a story and planned it. then i emailed my tutor to ask, and she said a human interest story should talk about a human or an aspects of human nature that are interesting. so a human-interest story, is about HUMANS. damn it. need to rethink and rewrite.
Anyway, Death Note 2 is super nice. Really damn nice, unique storyline filled with suspense. death note 2 was 2hrs 15mins long excluding ads, but it kept me glued to my seat throughout the movie. i really encourage u guys to catch it. but if u haven watched death note, dun watch the sequel, coz it would be meaningless. tampines mall has this detah note marathon where u can watch both 1 and 2 together for a special price. then again, its not advisable coz if u do tt, then u will be in for a 4 and a half hr movie marathon. got stamina bo? i'm dying for the original movie dvds to be released. i'll definitely buy it. my favourite movie yet. and i cant help but say tt misa amane, played by erika toda, is so damn pretty. she is the first girl whom i'm willing to fork out money to buy the original dvd for. she is damn cute!
Note: i wun even spend money on jessica alba, not even boa. but erika, yes i will!
Well, last nite's countdown sucked to the core of every1's balls. we went orchard first, and there was not really much of a crowd, since vivo is having such a huge concert and esplanade has the fireworks display. we cant spray any1 anymore coz the police have raided all the mini shops tt sell spray cans. and every 100m, there is a police guardhouse tentage, and every 50m there will be a policeman standing guard. so screwed. ruined every1's day. bloody singapore, cant even enjoy during the new year. i know its good coz banglas cant molest girls, but its also bad coz we cant torture the banglas. oh well.
so we headed down to esplanade. and city-link mall was jam-packed with people! so it was after 10pm, the air-con was off, people were squeezing, and it was so bloody hot. every1 was perspiring. but there was a jam in front, and we couldnt turn back anymore coz it was too crowded. after like half an hour we finally could get to the escalator near the Adidas boutique. and there was another jam -_-". and people on the escalator were higher than us, and they kept taking photos. so we were like: "WALK LA! JAM ALREADY STILL STOP AND TAKE PHOTO, NV SEE PEOPLE B4 ISIT?!?!"
hoho but when i got on the escalator, i realized y every1 wanted to take a photo. and i also took one eventually hahahaha!
